  1. Santa Marta in my to do list.

I also want to go to La Guajira which I hear is a couple of hours by car from Santa Marta.

Nice video. Enjoy. From the cities I have seen, nothing compares to Medellín in teams of great looking girls. Paisas take care of themselves… coquetas.

  2. Santa Marta is very small but i agree its got things to improve. If you like the beach its the perfect place.

  3. I was there last December and your right that it is very hot in the day – 33 degrees every day – but the nights were just right at about 20 degrees – we stayed in Rodadero which is a little outside of Santa Marta and is where mostly the Colombians stay – in the main centre of Santa Marta there were a lot of Gringos – it had a nice vibe and we never felt that it was dangerous either in the day or at night.

  4. Man! The biggiest pet peeve I have about the Colombian Caribbean Coat especially in Santa Marta (also Cartagena) more specific Rodadero during the weekend is when your eating in the restaurants the street sales people be coming to you like a magnet also when eating in a restaurant and restaurant employees don't do nothing about it. I had this fat kid come to me selling keychains I said no he left and came back asking for my patacon, had to give it. My girl said something to the child saying don't bother people eating because you wont like it. Overall I prefer Santa Marta Over Cartagena just because is less (not by much) luxury, still have that Latin America local vacation destination vibe before the multinationals corporations comes and upgrade the areas. Even thou they already started to be built (south of Rodadero district)

  5. Check out the beaches on Tayrona National Park, you can do snorkeling there. Also, a must Ciudad Perdida.

  6. You have to go to Parque Naccional Tayrona. It's literally the best thing about Santa Marta.. You have to go early like 7am and be ready to hike 4-5 hours. It's absolutely amazing.

  7. You should visit Taganga during the day is a lovely place, Santa Marta is wat safer and enjoyable than Cartagena not to mention the Historical Downtown.

  8. I've been in Cartagena on and off for 12 months and I always tell myself I should do a Santa Marta trip but I get pereza haha

It definitely seems much chiller and laidback than Cartagena.

  9. I recently just went to Santa Marta. It was alright. I preferred San Andres Colombia. way more things to do there

  10. Wes go stay the night in Parque Tayrona. Hike there but then leave in a lancha. The boat ride was super cool too. Also Rodadero is good.

  11. have u ever seen Peter santenello? I would love if u became a Columbian version of him

  12. Hi I like the video but wanted the camera to point away from your face. I wanted to see the views. I visted there over 10 yrs ago and I was not impressed to say I would go back.

  13. Hey dude, just found your channel. Some amazing advice (I'm visiting Colombia in the fall)! I feel like there are a lot of bad stereotypes about the country (and stuff that could get you into trouble) and your honesty really helps. Keep up the good work and keep the faith.

  14. This is perfect timing cause I was thinking about going here and Barranquilla in a couple months. I need a break from this NYC American rat-race lifestyle 😵‍💫🤦🏽‍♂️..

  15. Samarios are some of the most laid-back Colombians in the country. Wes, you need to check out along the coast heading towards La Guajira.

  16. I'm surprised this was ur 1st time being a few years in Colombia. Hopefully you get a chance to visit the Lost City.
