Hey Cruise World Crew! We recently sailed on one of @msccruises newest ships, the MSC Seascape. We discuss our thoughts about our experience onboard and we tell you about the good and bad! 1. Great post!
Lots of good info and tips.
Yeah we agree, don't like the card issue either.
As for the whistle, my first thought is a nearby cabin has the the balcony door open which creates the whistling.
We haven't done MSC yet but everytime we look into it we find out things that keeps turning us away and seems to us the bad will outweigh the good.
We looked into the drink pkg but the basic didn't include what we like to drink.
Also, I think overall we would keep comparing everything to Carnival, with Carnival in the lead.
Might be our imagination, but it seems the decor throughout the ship is very dark.
    Thanks for the post!

  2. Did you guys see me on there I’m in the green wave restaurant 394 and went to the all white party and art gallery

  3. Thank you for the review. We are booked on Seascape for 28 days over the next few months. I have a few comments. I have siled over 15 times on MSC over the past few years. Divinia and Meraviglia. As to the Muster drill. I found NO PROBLEMS. To me the process was very easy. The istructions were simple. Watch the video in your room when the announcements are made. At the end of the video it says call 881. After you do that it says wait in your room until they call your floor over the loudspeaker. That cuts down the mass confusion as they stagger the guests so it is not so crowded. But some do not wait and do not follow the simple instructions. Sorta like they assign various staggered check in times at embarkation. But when 5,000 guests all try to check in at the same time, and the terminal holds 1,000. That means many guests who follow instruction will be forced to stand outside in the HOT SUN, because those with 3PM check in times are pushing their way in at 11AM.

Yes the buffet is busy n embarkation day. The only place to eat. But the buffet is HUGE. And if you walk around to the back area it is very empty with lots and lots of tables where you can sit with only two if you want.

As to dining hours hours. The website says your choice for dining. But when 5,000 all want early seating and there are only 2,000 seats. Everyone cannot get everything they demand. As adults we teach our children to share. And we as adults have to share too. Like in the theater, there are only so many seats. So they have three shows to allow all who want, a seat to see the show.

Caberat Rouge has multiple entertainers. Not just two. Different entertainers at different times.

The Robotron has three different speeds. You can ask for slow, medium or very, very fast. The signs there say so.

As to Ocean Cay. Some sail on RCCL. Some sail on Carnival … etc. There are cruise lines for everyone and NOT all cruise lines are the same thing. Like Disney is not the same island or experience like Celebrity or the same as Carnival or the same as MSC. That is one thing cruisers like. Like One line has American food like Guy's Burgers. MSC is a Italian ship with Eurpoean food. Variety is the spice of life.

I live in Central Florida. Some come to Florida for Disney. Some come to Florida to hang out on the beach. Some like to go coast to coast on a plane and some like the laid back of traveling by train. Not one person likes everthing the same.

I like you will be doing a review on Seaside soon. We are booked on a b2b on Seaside in a couple months. Glad you enjoy sailing. Just remember every cruise line is not like all the others. MSC DOES NOT have go karts, flo rider and there are cruise lines that do not have what MSC offers. I have been sailing for over 50 years now. Well over 125 sailings so far. 6 more sailings booked in 2023. Thinking of adding a seventh or eight sailing around the Christmas holidays. Sailed on many cruise ships. My first was the MSC France. Then it became the SS Norway. In the 70's. No water slides, no go jarts. We had shuffle board and we had skeet shooting off the aft. I got trophies for my skeet shooting. And we used REAL Shotguns and clay pigeons

Keep sailing. Enjoy life. And i look forward to your review on the Seaside

  4. I love your videos. However, our cruise with MSC was a cruise from hell. We are a one-and-done with MSC. We're going to continue with Royal Caribbean and Princess where customer service is the best. In saying that, MSC has the most beautiful ships at sea. But, they can't make the cruises cheap enough to get us back.

  5. I will Sail Seascape this August hoping a good trip, I Enjoyed Seashore last year but yeah some issue were present like those smart elevator they take a long time to arrive in peak times better use the stairs, Also in Seashore didnt have long lines they have a preferred Ganway for Yatch Club guest, Specialty Dining the only is worth is Butchers Cut, The Aurea Thermal Spa is worth it.

Msc been improving Slowly they will take a lot of time to get on top of competition

  6. I really enjoyed this review! We sailed on the Seashore last year and know exactly what you were referring to about customer service. Looking forward to our cruise next month on the Seaside to give them another shot though! Great video!

  7. Marc and Stephanie m, great video! Jean and I can’t thank you enough it was very well done and helpful. Our next cruise is on the Seaside in Sept. While they are different ships the bulk of the information will apply. This will be our first cruise on MSC, we as many have heard many rumors but, up till now have not know anyone that had actually been on one. You are looking great keep up the good work it shows!!! Looking forward to seeing y’all in Oct. Marc know y’all have been really busy only one comment,,,, more content from y’all please!!!thx Terry & Jean warmest regards from Tn.❤

  8. Great stuff! I have been looking at MSC and this information was what I needed to sea. I have already got my member # Just remember you guys top of the top!
PS when is your group cruse cruise? Is it fill ?👍🤘

  9. Our very first MSC was on Divina, maybe 2015 or earlier. Port of Grand Cayman. They use the life boats. At that time the towels were a tangerine color. Everyone lined up waiting for tenders, looked like a Rastafarian convention
