    I'm going to Japan on the 11th of October until the 27th. So hopefully I will buy the JR pass at the start of August to be sure (hopefully they dont change the prices before then)

    Very informative we’ll be travelling to japan for the first time in late august is it a good idea to buy a JR Pass? We are just probably staying around Narita then tokyo , mt fuji and disneyland. 😊 your puppy is so adorable 🥰

    Regarding Jr pass please clarify. I found that price increase starts from April 1,2024.
    Till march 31 2023 existing fares would continue???

    I found out about the Shinkansen cancellation in June through a Facebook Japan Travel group post. Lucky I didn’t need the train for a few days. It rained a lot those days

    And great video with useful suggestions like taking precautionary food and water on the Shinkansen, NERV app, that notifies a traveler about weather and geological problems that may ruin a trip, etc. … We are taking your suggestions when we visit in October.     Summer here right now is really hot and humid. It doesnt help that the AC in most places….. trains, malls, hotels…..etc ..is turned too high. The air feels stale and muggy.😅
    But the wonderful thing is the abundance of beautiful flowers everywhere 😊

    I have my flight at 10th of july so the next monday . I'll be in japan till 23 july . What festivals will there be ? it's my first time going to japan and it would be nice to come across a few festivals
