This is one of the most amazing Aquarium I’ve been
to. Sumida Aquarium in Tokyo Japan has some of the most crazy Aquascaped Aquariums! These, freshwater planted aquariums were aquascaped by Takashi Amano and I was blown away when I walked in.
The first large planted aquarium you see when you enter Sumida Aquarium is insane and it is my favorite. I love all the aquatic plants, the driftwood and the fish selection that Takashi Amano and the ADA team selected. The rainbow fish in some of these tanks were stunning. The dwarf neon rainbow fish and the bosemani rainbow fish were my favorites.
After the incredible aquascaped section of Sumida Aquarium, there is a saltwater section, that showcase small fish like the clownfish, to large fish like the humphead wrasse. There was also a crazy aquarium with lots of garden eels! There was a japanese rice fish biotope tank which I liked and a cool goldfish section as well.
