In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

Throughout my journey, I’m raising money for a young disabled child in Poland named Franek. Franek was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (weakness of the entire right side of the body) and he will require constant rehabilitation for the rest of his life.     My parents visited New Mexico and brought back a Georgia O'Keefe print with Skyscrapers.
    O’Keeffe was a part of an American movement called Precisionism and although she painted some abstractions she mainly sticked to depicting reality, but in synthesized, sometimes very decorative form. She spent time looking for things that weren't cement and found flowers and eventually moved to NM.

    You made my son and I so hungry we want to fly out there from Florida and eat at that burger place and the fry's place. Long flight in our plane but it looks worth the trip. Then head up to Canada to cool off from the heat in the USA.

    Chile Relleno is my all time favorite dish. When they are done right with a brisket and cheese stuffing, it's the best. I just got back from Cloudcroft, New Mexico for a overnight quickie trip from Fort Worth, Texas. Was planning a longer trip but got a call from home that a matter required my attention. Bummer. I'll be back soon after the temperatures are well below 100. Maybe August, but probably September.

    Truth or Consequences used to be named Silver Springs. The network which ran the TV game show "Truth or Consequences" was looking for a town which would change its name to the show's, in return for the network hosting an annual event there. Silver Springs agreed to the deal. By the way, you have to be VERY careful about ordering a ready-made chili dish in New Mexico–it can be tailored to residents who have had their taste buds desensitized from years of eating hot food–you can get the inside of your mouth burned out.
