The 2nd Machigwa Matsuri (Market Festival) was held on October 16th, 2011. Entertainers and performers from various genres took stage on an arcade shopping street, Sunrise Naha Dori in Naha. October 16th was the last day of the 5th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival. This event aimed to welcome people visiting Okinawa for the Uchinanchu Festival. And this event was also a charity event for Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami. There are many shopping streets associations around the area, and they hold unique events through a year. When you visit Okinawa, please don’t hesitate to participate and have a fun!
