  1. This sounds amazing. I'm excited to see where it is exactly, because wife and I are off to Hokkaido next month. Planning to spend a week there to escape Tokyo's heat!

  2. โคโคโคโคโคโค๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. You are right! That Airbnb was epic!! It is great after spending time in the bustling cities to just take some time to relax and take it slow.
Thanks for showing us the slower side of Japan! โค

  4. Such a beautiful place! I get the craving for western foid. No matter where I have been after a week or so I get a mad craving for a sausage roll (very hard to get outside these parts) no matter how good the local food is.

  5. What an Amazing place to stay! Part of why I love your channel Phoebe is choices of accommodation! I do LOVE nice hotels and appartements for me it is part of the holiday experience.
My daughter keeps telling me how much she wants to go to Sapporo so Iโ€™m keeping this in mind (I am planning our ultimate Japan ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต visit itinerary right now!๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ)
    Have a lovely Sunday

  6. It was like watching a movie! Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can hear only the sound of the waves and enjoy the beautiful sunsetโ™ช
Next time you come to Hokkaido, Rent a car and feel the magnificent nature of Hokkaido!

  7. Sapporo was easily my fave part of my first Japan, need to get back and explore Hokkaido more

  8. Congratulations 100k plus subscribers, well deserved.beautiful accommodation and a spectacular sea view. goes without saying great food. You have proven that you give the best tips on where to go and what to ea in Japan and elsewhere, great work, Phoebe. if I may you are a lovely Lady.

  9. Gooooooooood morning, Phoebe! I hope your day today is a good one. Sadly, I'm dealing with a sinus infection, so forgive any typos or ramblings–blame it on the medication! ๐ŸคฃGotta say, this is not an ideal situation just 2 weeks away from our trip, but I'll knock it out by then. With that disclaimer out of the way, let's get on to…Rob's Review (I should trademark this):

    * Last video of Japan series. ๐Ÿฅฒ
    * How cool to get to go to Sapporo Museum (a favorite beer of mine). Really like how you caught the flowers "raining" off of the tree out front.
    * Yup…great framing. Too bad you couldn't film more (Sheesh! Can't film in Sapporo Brewery, can't eat at Universal Mario Cafe…so many rules you broke!๐Ÿคฃ)
    * Must say, I approve of the "tastings." Most places would give you about a 3 oz tasting.
    * Agree with you absolutely…best part of traveling is to try new things! (some things are great and other things are…well…uni…๐Ÿคข)
    * Kaisendon…was the rice warm on that dish? When I first saw it, I thought it was a chirashi bowl, but looking it up, I think the difference is the warm rice…am I right?
    * Ok…in this series, I've noted that there are often quick shots of you interacting with the locals (that cute dog in this case). It's so great to see and to include in your videos. I'm hoping this is the result of you becoming much more comfortable vlogging and you'll continue to try and include it in future travels. It's gotta be easier with James there, I expect, as it's always easier with a friend. When I travel, I try to have small interactions with those that live there — always adds a personal touch and, sometimes, leads to a great locals recommendation of where to visit or eat!
    * Japanese snacks are the best!
    * Didn't know an international driver license was required in Japan. (Needing to drive in Australia is freaking me out).
    * Erin laughed watching you running into a coffee cafe. ๐Ÿคฃ "Some things are worth running toward!"
    * Haha…while going to the AirBnB, your VO making it sound like we're with you in real time and hearing your excitement…well done.
    * I also like how we're now with James' point of view.
    * Holy *(@$!!!! What a place!! I loved hearing your excitement when James lifted his "blindfold".
    * Heck with just Japan…that view is one of the best anywhere in the world, as is that AirBnB. You're right, "This place…this place…is something else." What a great find, Phoebe! And well done keeping that a secret!
    * When you truly "witness" a sunset…it's so hard to describe, isn't it? No matter what you say or think, it's not sufficient.
    * Kinda like James' pseudo take over of this episode. Allows you to be free. You were willing to share a bit more of yourself with us yet again.
    * That's a great description–tummy gets homesick. Couldn't agree more. But, uh, "family size" for that pizza? Yeah…we live in America…that's a kid's portion here (which explains a lot!)
    * Showing each other's view of the same moment in the kitchen–that was fun.
    * Yay!!! GMYG! ๐Ÿ˜
    * What an incredible lunch. Last shot of the chef proudly standing outside of his restaurant was quite special.
    * I think I'd be doing the same that James did on that shot in the market–pulling out my wallet and "Yes! Take my money! That looks delicious!"
    * What a peaceful looking park.
    * One last night at that incredible AirBnB had to be a great way to finish off your Japan series.
    * Next week…the long awaited 100k Celebration!!!

Watching you share your journeys around the world preceding this year has been a lot of fun for us. Phoebe, you've had one hell of a year so far. Well, perhaps in many ways, one hellish of a year so far. Dealing with only one of the major issues that hit you would be hard enough…but…how many now have you been through? I can't even imagine. Watching you share your inner journeys this year has taken your channel to an entirely different level. It's now more than just a run-of-the-mill travel vlog. It's a life story. The modern equivalent of an autobiography. For us, it's like getting to know a friend. For you, it looks like, in many ways, it's your way of coping and getting better. Therapy if you will. As a fellow introvert, I'm kinda jealous you found a way to your new self (even if it is, ironically, for an introvert to share with the entire world!) You've still got a ways to go, I expect (don't we all? I'm still working on it, too). This trip was, I hope, a turning point for you. A true proof to yourself that you can and you will do this and that you'll be better than everyone else at it. And we'll be here every time you need and for every video of the journey.

Can't wait for the 100k Celebration and the special announcement. All our best for the coming week. Now, I'm off to rest to get better, 'cause we'll soon be in Auckland and going straight to the All Blacks Experience! ๐Ÿคฉ

    Rob and Erin

  10. I completely get why you and James decided to go for a cheeseburger and pizza night. I love seafood but you can have too much of a good thing ๐Ÿ™‚. The cliff beach house looked amazing. What I loved was seeing the Japanese coastline. It's only when you see it that you realise that most Japan travel videos are dominated by the incredible cityscapes (for obvious reasons). It's clear that you and James had an amazing time in Japan. I really hope I can get to visit Japan in the near(ish) future. It's been a great series of videos and I'm looking forward to seeing where your travels take you next.

  11. Hello Phoebe, Hope this message finds you well. And Yes ! We have not been. hahaha. But on our next trip to Japan. We will go there for sure. What a place to just chill. A great find Phoebe.
Again, congrats to 100 + subscribers ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Sending you much loveโค from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki

  12. Isn't running across a road without using a crossing a bit of a faux pas in Japan? Don't worry, I'm not judging; I wandered around Osaka eating food while walking and only learned later that I was breaking etiquette! Hokkaido is definitely on my wish list of places to visit next time I'm in Japan.

  13. I like your video.
    so unique and high quality.
Many people goใ€€to same places like shibuya crossing, harajuku, golden temple ,fushimi inari ,dotonbori and bamboo forest๐Ÿ˜…

    I live in Izu peninsula.
please come and I ll be your perfect guide.
    I m ready to blow you away๐Ÿ˜Š

  14. Is there anything more clichรฉ than an Australian going to a beer museum ๐Ÿ˜‚ love it. That accom was spectacular โ˜€๏ธ

  15. very nice view! but just wondering,… are you sure there's an onsen in there? Coz an onsen is where there's hot springs water .

  16. Sometimes we are so busy rushing around to see the sights, when we have wonderment right in front of us.
That meal looked amazing. Lovin Japan. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž
