There is almost no sound in this video other than the ambiance of the walk. The weather was nice, it was overcast and sort of rainy. Not to hot.

  1. LOVE these videos.
I woke up and noticed that there was video from you. It was after 1 am. I had every intention of watching but the sounds were very soothing that I was falling back asleep and was woken up by certain sounds. I will actually watch again later on in the morning to see what I missed.

  2. Matt, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Remembering back to the 1970's I could almost smell the odor of the binjo ditches coming back to haunt me . Which Kit said in a prior video don't smell any more. Is there any way to watch more videos like this while viewing a window on Google Earth that shows us where you are recording?

  3. I agree, more of these! Thank you Matt, so ideal for my water rower workout !

  4. Loved it! Would love to see other neighborhoods. Yomitan around Torii and the castle. Also the area between Kadena Circle and Torii.

  5. Matt are you guys going to drive to nishihara Cho, it has a big store there I remember, something idea, just smile be happy, wear mask be safe, bless you guys, Oregon is on fire now…

  6. Hi Matt i like both silent walk through. Areas of different neighborhoods, thanks 🙏

  7. Great video, I really felt like I was out walking the area. I was hoping to find out exactly where you were walking. My daughter lives in Toya near Jakkepoes Pancake House. She loves living in Okinawa, I hope to come visit before her husbands assignment ends. I look forward to another walking video. I like hearing the walking and street sounds, it makes it feel like I am there.

  8. I grew up near Naha and have been longing for ambient/sights and sounds for over a decade- so thank you for this.

  9. I love the ambient sounds. I would be okay with occasional talking when pointing out something specific.
