The Japanese countryside this time is Gokayama
(There is no music this time either.)
The region located in the southwestern part of Toyama Prefecture is covered in 2 to 3 meters of snow during winter. Ainokura and Suganuma Villages, along with Ogimachi in Shirakawa-go, Gifu Prefecture, were designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in 1995.

It takes about one hour by car from Toyama Station, but you can also reach it in the same amount of time from Kanazawa Station.
