Yokai House and Roadside Station Oboke, Shikoku | Japan Vlog 75 | Lin Nyunt

YOKAI HOUSE AND ROADSIDE STATION OBOKE, SHIKOKU

This is the first of the Shikoku, Japan vlogs I’ll be uploading. We took a road trip to Shikoku Island over the Obon holiday.

We used Toyota Rent A Car for our trip. They haven’t sponsored the video but they’re highly recommended.

Firstly, we stopped at the Awaji Highway Oasis for lunch and to check out the amazing view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge.

We then visited the Yokai House at the Roadside Station Oboke in the Oboke Gorge/Iya Valley region of Tokushima Prefecture.

Yokai are mythical Japanese monsters and creatures. The Yamashiro region around Oboke and Iya Valley is known to have over 150 spots where these folkloric beings are said to reside.
