SHOT ENTIRELY IN INSTA360 X3
Best hotel to stay in tokyo.
After my misadventure here at Narita… I’m now heading to Tokyo, where many adventures are waiting for me.
My next agenda is to check in at APA HOTEL RYOGOKU.
It will take me 21 stops, approximately 1:35 h traveling. I’m still using the keisie rapid train service for this trip.
This is my best option to reach my hotel, although I have to walk for a few minutes more after my train ride to get to the hotel.
My final stop is kuramae station…
Expect more green colors as our route are mostly Japan rural areas.
I will give you an uncut of my full train ride in a separate episode.
As usual, I checked my Google direction first for my exact exit way.
Oops, busted and need to recharge.
Why this card is kept sending back by the machine…
It took me a while before I realized that it is not the right place for recharging the card.
It seems it is the same place where I get my Welcome Suica card.
Not again… Am I having a Technology gap…
Finally, that’s your place.
So my fare is 964, and I only have 516 on my card, I’ll be recharging 1000 yen only in the meantime. Just to pass through and I don’t see the need to load more as my future destinations are just nearby.
From here I need to walk for about 13 mins or 1.1 km to my hotel.
I will be having a full walk-through of the Ryogoku area on a separate episode so stay tuned for that.
So this is it…’m now at APA Hotel Ryogoku.
I arrived here an hour ahead of my check-in time at 3 pm.
So, since I have some time and I don’t want to stay waiting at the hotel, I decided to leave my bag at the concierge and do a quick tour of the Ryogoku area.
The check-in procedure is so quick, all are made electronically.
First, I got hotel check information printed on thermal paper.
Then I got the 8 pieces breakfast slip for the duration of my entire stay.
And finally, I got the room card also at the machine.
I also received the hotel information sheet.
Oops, I almost forgot my insta360 camera in my excitement to go to my room.
I booked a high floor for my room so I can get a skyline view of Tokyo for my time-lapse video.
I’m on the 23rd floor and my room is 2323.
So this is the look of the room, brown and white is the atmosphere, earth tone inspired.
I will give a detailed tour of my room in the coming days, for now, let’s have a glance at it.
Then let’s visit the basement 1, they have a fitness area, laundry area with vending machines, and ice dispensers.
And this one, this the reason I booked this hotel…for now its a secret.
And that’s it… See you in the next episode.
