Burning season is throughout SE Asia, I traveled to Taiwan and was surprised at the smoke that was present in Taipei. Although there is burning done in Thailand, much of it originates in Myanmar, parts of China, Lao, Cambodia and northern Vietnam the lack of winds unfortunately causes the smoke to accumulate in parts of Thailand. The solution is very complex as it has to be implemented in several countries to be effective.
There was no smoky season when we started going to Pai many years ago. It is very said what is going on with the burning in northern Thailand. Great video.
We are brainwashed to believe through news and social media that carbon monoxide is air pollution when in reality its food for plants

Burn offs have been happening for thousands of years
The smoke clears out when the wet season starts and burn offs happen only once a year …… Thailand and Asian countries should just time their burn offs better to solve the problem
