We’ve now departed Kyoto and have arrived in Osaka! On this first day, we took the train a short 30 mins ride to Umeda-Osaka station. From there we took the local train over to Dotonbori. After dropping off our bags we made our way to lunch. And of course we had to try an Osaka signature dish: okonomiyaki at Chibo Okonomiyaki, and it did not disappoint. We then wandered through Dotonbori, Nanba and the shopping district Shinsaibashi and grabbed some coffee at Sakimoto Coffee. By the time we finished, our hotel room was ready and we made our way back to Fourz Hotel and hung out in the public onsen before dinnertime.
For dinner we had a delicious omakase-style wagyu yakiniku at Yakiniku M Nanba. We walked that off making our way back to the famous Glico Man Sign in Dotonbori enjoying the neon streets that make Osaka Osaka. To top off the evening we had a drink at Osaka Cocktail Library Akashic Records.
