Anjaneri Hill is located 20 km away from Nasik by Trimbak Road and 5 km away from Trimbak/Trimakeshwar Temple. It is 56 km away from Igatpuri. Anjaneri is an attraction of Nasik city, which is also an important fort in the Trimbakeshwar region. Situated at 4,264 feet (1,300 m) above sea level. It has become a famous trekking spot in rainy season. You can take auto-ricksha from Nashik or Trimbak to reach base of the Hill. Further you have to climb/track approx. 8 km to reach Anjaneri Mata Temple. It takes around 3 Hrs from base of hill to reach the Temple. If you want to go on your foot you need to walk approx 5 km to reach the hill base afterwards 8 km of tracking.https://youtu.be/UqhQeWgXG50

    We reached on top after 4 hours treking .
    First 2 kilometres are easy but next 3.5 kilometres are the real challenge .
    Ticket cost is Rs. 10 per person
    It is not easy to go there many people gave up their journey in middle but we reached .
    You should beware of monkeys.

    But as per Ramayana, Hanuman was born in Kingdom of Kishkindha.
    There are many proofs like hanuman foot print, sugriva's cave, the place where vaali was burnt and from where rama shot arrow to kill vaali. There is also shabari ashram, pampa sarovar and the cave where vaali killed the demon and blood flowed out and sugriva closed the case thinking vaali died and there is also a hill where Rama and hanuman met for first time . Finally there is anjanadri hill where Hanuman was born actually along river tungabhadra. That place is today known as Hampi-Anegondi area.
