Keep saying you need to slow down… You won't regret it. A vlog a week is just about right for me, and if I do more it's a bonus. Takes the pressure off you as well.
I much prefer the "digital nomad" lifestyle. I run an online business as well, and I can't jump city to city every week. I like to set up 1 base for a minimum of 1 month. I think you're seeing that fatigue setting in, I've been there trust me. And as far as the vlogging/editing by yourself, even though i put my GF in many videos. She doesn't edit or shoot, so it is so much work , I agree.
Taking a break is good. For us it was really good those two months break, doing volunteering in Kuala Lumpur. Regarding us, me (Silviu), I am taking care of the logistic and planning, and Tara is doing all the editing and filming. So when you are a couple is much more easy to split the tasks between you. The only disadvantage is the lack of personal space, which is so much need it when you are a couple. Enjoy your time in Bali, we really loved it, and we are looking forward for your tornado vlog.
I get you… im there right now… In a diff sense… I got fired from my job recently and Ive been thinking of what to do with my life… Its been a couple of months since i got fired… So I started thinking of doing more with youtube… got caught up on my numbers and such… but this week i said, fuck it! Im not gonna take youtube too seriously… I did a few sponsorship vids in the last few months (realized that its not about the numbers while i was doing that)…
gonna keep traveling while I look for a job and hopefully something cool will come up from the wreckage… Peace of mind is always my goal… but I too have to keep busy or ill get into trouble lol…
Oh, I understand those points your mentioning. Happened to me before, where my long term travels just felt meaningless.
Two months in Bali sound like an awesome plan my friend! You definitely have to pace yourself when traveling because it will take it's toll on you.

I just started so I can barely understand how hard it is to do what you do daily but even with my short experience I can imagine how tough it is to live that life. Anyway it's all worth it man!
