Located at the foot of Mt. Togakushi (one of the sacred mountains in Japan), Togakushi Shrine consists of five shrines. One of them is the Okusha (upper shrine). This is the main shrine and the first one to be built. The path going here is lined with more than 200 giant cedar trees that are more than 400 years old.
