We made it to Nara, Japan and were so excited to feed the deer here! After waiting for Justin, we took the train to Kintetsu-Nara station, right by Nara Park where we started seeing deer. If you bow to them, they bow to you in the hopes of getting a deer biscuit to eat. If you’re wondering how expensive it is to travel in Japan, our day trip from Osaka to Nara was under $25 CAD per person including deer biscuits, transit and food. There is no cost to enter the deer park since they’re practically roaming through the entire city but some of the temples in Nara do have an entrance fee.
