  1. I love Japanese people, and I know them well. Normally, they dare not do this to Koreans. There is not an insignificant number of them who look down on the Taiwanese and feel like they can get away with this behavior in front of the Taiwanese.

  2. OUt of all th asian government scufal i am proud to say as Korean we were the 1st to do the judo pill lol

  3. If Japan adopts the same DEI edicts as the West, it will be the downfall of Japanese meritocracy. The country has been so economically successful because they've prioritized and rewarded real talent. If you arbitrarily hire to fill quotas, you're going to end up with a panel of incompetent candidates.

  4. The Japanese Karen is just a lowly Japanese, how dare she demand others speak her language, they don't have the numbers and historically they did not have a big impact globally nor did they rule large chunks of the world, totally different to the Chinese with their numbers and the US being a global hegemon and giving power to the Anglosphere or how the Spanish conquered large chunks of the world making castillian widely spoken. My tip to the stubborn and prideful Japanese is to learn English, at least you can communicate with most of the world even if Japan is irrelevant as far as lingual culture is concerned.

  5. It is GG for Japan. If free daycare, one year parental leave and cheap housing is unable to make a dent on their birthrates, nothing will. If some of the most lenient work visa policies is unable to raise immigration rates to the level of Western countries, nothing will.

  6. Japan is probably like ~95% Japanese if looking at race/ethnicity rather than the citizenship figures. In contrast, America is like 90% American if only looking at citizenships.

  7. Interesting discussion. Thank you for your hard work. By they way, at 08:33 …David says, "Andrew, run the clip." Andrew rejoins, "3, 2, 1", click! – but then no clip?

  8. Japan went from 30 million (pre-meiji) to 125 million in over a century. The population just hit its peak so the decline is only natural. Nothing grows forever.

  9. I live in Taiwan and there are very few influences and traces of the Japanese culture actually. It is primarily Chinese and Taiwanese culture here. And out of all the acquaintances and friends I have, only 1 can speak Japanese and she worked in Japan for 5 years. If this Karen has some sort of superiority complex as theorized in this video, she should wake up to reality.

  10. All countries need to be careful with Asylum seekers especially ones from countries like Syria, Pakistan and other Muslim majority countries.

  11. Japan isn't even close to 3500 years old.
The earliest semblance of civilization in Japan dates from the 4th century AD, so it's 1700 years old at best.

  12. 70% of Japans problems will be solved if they dropped the west especially America and made amends with their Asian neighbors particularly China and stay neutral in issues that do not concern them. Not to mention leaving G7. Public apology for their war crimes and build from there.
The other 30% give their women and men timw to spend with their kids, less work hours slowly increase the pay and spread jobs OUT of Toyko. Impoetanr ASIAN immigrants only-no foreigners from the west.

  13. Well I guess they will just learn it the hard way. I remember having a door slammed in my face by a Japanese girl in the Philippines. She then screamed "Asia for Asians". Remembering my history lessons from school I simply keep quiet and waited to see how it would play out. I assumed that the Filipinos would be quite happy to handle the situation given the Japanese occupation and all. Also: their country, their rules. The Japanese girl at the other hand seemed blissfully unaware of Filipino history (and Japanese evidently) and it backfired hard.
Her face turned to stone when her "fellow Asians" all sided with the Euro chick. After all my country never had colonies to begin with (ok fine, mostly because had no access to the ocean. Not because we are by any means better then the rest) but Japan at the other hand… So for the Pinoy it was an easy choice. Anyway, I almost felt bad for her as the Filipinos told her to get lost and never set a foot in their country again. To her it was clearly a shock to the system.

So either Japan starts remembering it's sins like the Germans did or the other countries will make them remember. I don't think that South Korea or Taiwan will play balls any longer now that they are both economical and technological powerhouses in their own right.

  14. Guys you too are as ignorant as the racist whites when it comes to China. 😂😂 I really wish you too do a little research. FYI: lots of people in the West have been moving to China.

  15. Grammar police here: Incorrect "Its" in the title. "Its" is the possessive form. "It's" is the contraction of it is. I'll only issue a warning this time

  16. Like they said, all of the advanced economies have declining birth rates. Globally, the majority of the population growth is in emerging markets & 3rd world countries. Where life expectancy is high, there is less need to reproduce. And naturally, people migrate to countries with strong economies & jobs. They'll figure things out but Japan is a tiny country. If you're expecting American style wokeness you're out of your mind.
