長崎県の島原、雲仙温泉の雲仙地獄と普賢岳が見えるロープウェイ乗り場を撮影してきました。元日に滞在地は小雨でしたが、100キロ離れた雲仙は晴れていました。
ロープウェイは感染症の事も考えて、今回は見送りました。
雲仙温泉は硫黄の匂いが立ち込め、蒸気が上がり、熱い源泉が湧き出ている事が良く分かりました。
島原と熊本の最短距離は4キロほど、対岸まで飛行してイルカを撮影してみたいと考えていましたが、強い追い風が吹いていて断念しました。小さな灯台は離陸予定地です。

I have taken pictures of the ropeway platform where you can see Unzen Jigoku and Mt. Fugen in Unzen Onsen, Shimabara, Nagasaki Prefecture. It rained lightly on New Year’s Day, but Unzen, 100 kilometers away, was sunny.
Considering the infectious disease, the ropeway was put off this time.
It was well understood that Unzen Onsen was filled with the smell of sulfur, steam was rising, and a hot source was welling up.
The shortest distance between Shimabara and Kumamoto was about 4 km, and I wanted to fly to the opposite bank and shoot dolphins, but I gave up because of a strong tailwind. The small lighthouse is the planned takeoff site.
