1447hrs: Komachi #22, 1306hrs ex Akita, arrives at Morioka station & after stopping briefly, slowly proceeds to couple to the waiting Hayabusa #22, 1352hrs ex Shin Aomori.
The Komachi (red) is a E6 Series Shinkansen, whilst the Hyabusa (green) is a E5 series.
Departing Morioka at 1450 hrs, the combined trains travel at up to 320kmh to arrive Tokyo at 1704hrs, a distance of 535km with 3 stops
