  1. Wow this looks so impressive 😮 how u stack this versus fujifilm x100v both have recipes, i know most of details and if you had to pick which would u have. Thanks 😊 subbed from uk 🇬🇧 brilliant job btw 🎉

  2. Great images… Interesting idea limiting the number of shots… very nicely presented👏🏻👏🏻!

  3. I enjoyed hearing why you took each photo. The text on the screen was healing to see what you were thinking.

  4. Very good Adrien. A few times I have gone out with my GR III with the card left behind in my laptop. I do like the change in mindset required to shoot with a very limited number of shots available in the internal memory.

  5. I wish there was a way to move images from the internal memory to an SD card in camera – or, better yet, to save images simultaneously to both the SD card and the internal memory. Would really like to see a future version of this camera with such ability as well as a larger internal memory. Would give the benefit of dual card slots without actually trying to squeeze in a second card slot.

  6. Great idea, Adrien! I think shooting digital with limited amount of storage is a good balance. Film makes you more aware and forces you to put more thought into the process of taking photographs, but the learning cycle is just so long. Not having EXIF makes learning from your mistakes 100x harder. What I do sometimes is putting on my GR III an optical viewfinder (personally I use Nikon's DF-CP1 – excellent optical and build quality), setting up snap distance priority, turning off the display and using OVF exclusively. It let's you save the battery and also makes life easier on a very sunny day. Then, I check images only at home, at the end of the day. Next time I will try to combine it with using internal memory only.
I noticed that you probably prefer more open aperture of around f/5.6 (instead of, say f/8) and faster shutter speeds even when there is quite a lot of light and the scene is fairly static. If this was intentional, what is the idea behind this?
I really like your ideas, explanations and compositions and I keep coming back to your channel – good stuff! Cheers!

  7. Thanks for all the videos! Would you be open to showing how you capture your first person view or over the shoulder view while you're on your photo walks?

  8. If you do it with the a7iv then you can hide the LCD screen, there's also a choice of using a manual lens on it; that also might be a way to replicate film. Another great video, thanks for posting 👍.

  9. I think the point you made about variety is vital. Whenever I get a film back from the lab, I like to remember where I was taking those pictures, especially given that I shoot around a roll a month, so sometimes I even forget that I took some frames. Hence, trying to nail 36 exposures is a huge challenge, at least in my humble opinion haha, so every time I load a roll, I remember Uncle Ben's famous last words. Great video man, I am glad I found your channel, you got yourself a new sub!
