  1. Awesome video! We took the same cruise a couple weeks after you did and had a great time. It was cool to see how different your experience was from ours.

  2. Good video, but next time use the proper music in the back ground. In the beginning you're using a Colombian song.

  3. Are there tours I can do on my own without buying the ship's excursion? Are there private tours outside of the pier that I can negotiate with? I am planning a trip on the Norwegian Sky on Dec 11th.

  4. i took this cruise in june and had a fantastic time my 3rd time on the sky and my 17 cruise maybe 18 ha ha ha i would recommend this cruise highly

  5. I just returned from the Norwegian Sky cruise to Cuba tonight. Fantastic cruise and I had a wonderful time. That said, this trip should be a 101 class for all the Bernie/Hillary/Cortez/Antifa people of America. Cuba is a sheethole by any standards. While I wouldn't quite go "3rd world country," they are certainly lower 2nd world. Not the people fault. It's their "government." I feel extremely bad for the people of Cuba. On one block you have extremely immaculate new buildings for government offices and such and across the street are people living in shacks. Restaurants without AC and bathrooms without toilet paper. Panhandling is worse than I have ever seen anywhere in America, Mexico, Belize, Jamaica, California…I think those are the only other countries I've been to. Communism at it's finest. I really do feel bad for the people of Cuba.

  6. Don't fall for this cruise, we just returned from 5 days cruise to Havana; Supposedly 18 hours at Havana port: we were promised arrival at noon, a 2pm excursion and overnight stay (ship departure 6am). That morning we were informed due to technical difficulties, we would not arrive in Havana until 5pm… it took over 3.5 hours to get off the ship… so it's 8:30 pm in Havana, ship leaves at 6am…. 8.5 hours less than promised and we never saw Havana in daylight. The ONLY reason we took this cruise was for a full day and night in Havana, we got screwed. NCL offered 25% off our next cruise for the inconvenience… but we will never cruise NCL again.

  7. Nobody has been able to clarify a point with my visa to enter Cuba, on a cruise, from a port in Miami.

We are from Chile, residents in Chile.

We bought a cruise trip for two people that departs from the port of Miami on May 20, 2019 which goes to Havana, then goes to the Bahamas and then back to Miami.

Before buying the trip, the cruise counselor, from the travel agency, informed me that the visa to enter Cuba could be acquired inside the ship, which was a minor procedure.

We bought the two places and to make sure everything is in order contact an agent of the shipping company and informed me that if we do not arrive at the port with the visa we can not embark.

Given the above we have tried to find out what is the truth of all this because some say one thing and others say something else.

The travel advisor tells me that to make sure I go to the consulate of Cuba of my country and take out the tourist visa.

Call the consulate of Cuba in Chile and they inform me that if I am going to enter from Miami to Cuba the visa must be granted to me in Miami,

Call the shipping company and they tell me that I must arrive with the visa granted in my country since each country has a different color of visa. They also inform me that they could handle the pink visa that costs me 75 dollars, but that visa tells me that it is only for US residents, so they do not assure me that it is accepted in the port.

Royal Caribbean, in their frequently asked questions, they inform that they can process the visa to Cuba to guests who are not US residents, with a cost of 75 dollars, but the requirement is that they enter the US with the visa waiver or ESTA.

we will travel to the US with the ESTA visa.

Please request your help and guidance.

What is the truth of all this? With what visa can I enter? Can the shipping company grant me a pink visa even if I am not a US resident? We contract services with CRUCEROSNET.COM

The line with which we take the cruise is Norwegian NCL
