In April 2017 I left Australia for a solo trip around the world on a BMW F800GS. I named it “Are We There Yet” because I don’t know my final destination or the duration of this journey.

    Hello, for many years our local weatherman, Sid Lasher surveyed the hottest temperature in Texas daily. More often than not Presidio, Texas was the winner. Sid would say " Choir " and the television crew would sing a " fanfare " to Presidio. It was good fun.

    Thanks for four great episodes on Big Bend and the surrounding area, Kinga! Glad you enjoyed our favorite place in Texas. The River Road from Lajitas to Presidio is one of the best in Texas, and then the ride north from Presidio to Marfa shows expansive views that you can only find in west Texas.
