    I follow another Utube travel blogger 'Harald, and the exact same thing happened to him. They also tried to extort a couple of hundred dollars from him, thankfully he made back to his hotel and only paid them half the amount they had asked for.

    I think you’re definitely not prepared for the type of content you want to film to be honest. Because anybody in their right mind knows that going to a poor area where they live with barely 1$ a day you should expect something like that to happen. And instead you just called all Haitians greedy and money hungry without even seeing the situation you put yourself into. And the fact that you are trying to say that you are trying to make a good out of Haiti when you are clearly filming faces of people in the slums who obviously don’t want to be filmed in that situation says a lot about your “White Saviorism complex” and as an Haitian living in Haiti i can clearly tell you if this is the way you think “WE DONT NEED YOU IN HAITI “

    I've seen people Including myself get stabbed almost to death for a lot less so your lucky mate. Walking around filming whoever you want, that's disrespectful anywhere especially african cultures.
