Finally we got to one of the cities on our list, this is Manila. In this video, I shared my first impressions of the city of Manila immediately after arriving at the airport. Since we started traveling, many travelers have suggested to explore Manila from different perspectives. Therefore, we decided to stay here for 16 days so that we would have enough time to get acquainted with what Manila has to offer us.

I hope you guys enjoy Manila. I am a Filipino and been to other countries. Manila is way behind Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, SG, even Ho Chi Min in terms of tourist infras. Though BGC is now a recommended one but it is a modern, and lacks the authentic Filipino feels. Usually, foreigners just transit Manila. And I admire you for guys for being so brave. Also, in Manila best transpo is either LRT or MRT and Grab.
I dont know y ur commuting using jeepney or train or tricycle is it for experience? Or cheaper? But i suggest just take grab for convenience and safety.
its not true. Manila or Pilippines is notdangerous. You can go anywhere people are friendly as long as you dont show off, Be nice and they are nice to you. Be good and they are very good to you. Filipinos are the friendliest people on earth.

Turon is a snack food. While Lumpiang Gulay is generally a snack food also, it can be a meal if eaten with a cup or two of rice. Filipino foods in general is more on the sour and salty because practically every meal is eaten with rice.
If you went to that train only one transfer and you’ll be at Fort Santiago through Intramuros, the( Central Station) is where you will go down and from there it’s already walkable anyway by this time you already knew the way.

You just rode an ejeepney. The regular jeepneys, which is the cheapest mode of transport would soon be phased out. I hope you can ride on it before it's gone. It has been here since the Americans came during WW2.
The country was colonized by Spain for more than three centuries, the reason for the Spanish names, architecture, etc.
I like that you know how to spend your money wisely. The lumpia that you bought is just P5 here in my area.
Locals should instruct foreigners how to enjoy and eat local foods for the best taste.

They both made sure you go the right direction and dont get overpriced. apparently you have to choose the right transporation going to a certain route to avoid paying too much for the wrong one. enjoy and stay safe

It’s so Humid there and kuya is not wearing his Tshirt… you’re in a very local areas. So it will going to be a culture shock, and the locals think your filipina. I think it’s funny cause the locals won’t be pretending to impress their foreign guests. So it will be interesting. They treat you guys like one of us.😊✌🏻
Tricycle or Tuktok will overcharge you especially if do not know the place, it's more safe to ride jeepney.
