OSAKA, JAPAN – In this video, we came back to Dotonbori again to try even more food! There was so much to eat, and one visit was not enough.

HISTORY – Dotonbori, the vibrant district that bears its name, encompasses both a charming canal and the lively street that runs alongside it. Back in 1612, the visionary merchant Yasui Doton had a dream of transforming the Umezu River into a waterway that would connect the Kizugawa with the local network of canals. Though he never witnessed his dream become a reality, his cousins took up the mantle after his passing, and in 1615, the canal was proudly named after him.

Fast forward to the present day, and Dotonbori has become an absolute paradise for food enthusiasts. Prepare to have your taste buds tantalized as you explore the world of mouthwatering Osaka street food. As you stroll down the bustling streets, you’ll be greeted by giant food models hanging above the shops, adding a playful touch to the vibrant atmosphere. And the best part? There’s an endless array of restaurants and izakayas tucked into every nook and cranny, ensuring that you’re never too far from an amazing food experience
