► This is the Hayabusa Shinkansen (bullet-train) – also known as Tohoku Shinkansen. It’s THE coolest train in the world – if you think differently, you are wrong! Aerodynamic design taken to the extreme, excellent seat-comfort with all the legroom you can wish for (even for a foreigner with long legs) and it runs amazingly smoothly and almost silent. Hayabusa Shinkansen travels at 320 km/h (approx. 200 mph) between Tokyo Station and Aomori.
In this particular video, I traveled to Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture, a 2 hours and 5 minute ride from Tokyo Station. (stopping at Ueno, Omiya, Kumagaya, Takasaki, Utsunomiya, Koriyama, Fukushima, before arriving at Sendai)
