What I am thinking is privacy. Wouldn’t her sis & hubby need that privacy? The father’s room is next to theirs – you can hear everything through a thin wall!!! I think Scarlett won’t have a sibling! 😂😂😂

You may want to consider finding father a Murphy Bed.. It has closet/cabinet space & a bed that folds up when NOT in use.. Some even have a built in desk..
Its a great space saver!
You could install a "buffer" wall between the father's room and the main house to private greater privacy and noise transference. You take the existing wall between the two, create a gap of say 6" and build another wall, with insulation on both sides, or you could pour concrete in between that space from the top as sound barrier. You could then put a thin layer of extra foam on the inside
of both sides of room and house division. Remember, you can't have one space or crack exposed; it must be all filled equally. The door could also have insulation strips on top and bottom plus be on the thicker side; perhaps a harder wood, as well.

Exchange the window as door and vice versa or the door of your father should be on the other side of his room.
Your dad should have a tiny house. It will not be enough room if you cut that space in half. Do you guys have architects out there? Do you draw out floor plans before building a home? It seems like you guys are just making it up as you go. Also that’s the same roof you had before that got destroyed is that a temporary roof?

Hello MJ and fam i enjoy the vlogs. How about a door opening outward or put the door so it's hinged on the left so door opens parallel to the wall. If it opens the other way towards window it's divides the room loosing space
