2023 Update: Certain routes have been temporarily suspended due to the recent pandemic so always check with the Limousine bus website for stops and time tables https://webservice.limousinebus.co.jp/web/
Good news: The transfer between Narita to Haneda is not cancelled and is still ongoing.

Certain International flights with a Tokyo,Japan Layover will require you to do self tranfers airports between Narita (NRT) to Haneda (HND) & vice versa .
The Limousine Bus offers the quickest and most direct route between airports.
Current Rates are ¥3100 or $29.00 as of March 2018. Kids are charged ¥1500 or $14.50 You can use Visa or Mastercard to pay.
This video documents my first time using the Limousine Bus from Narita Airport to Transfer to Haneda International Aiport. A good 60-70 min drive away.
The Limousine Shuttle Bus also offers drop off & pick up points to several selected hotels such as Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Tokyo Disney Resorts & many more.
Using the Friendly Airport Limousine Bus is ideal for passengers with one or more bulky lugguage and need a direct stop between airports and nearby hotels or tourist areas.
My main concern about using this bus line was the very narrow overhead bin they had inside the bus which will not fit a rolling carry on. I had 2 pcs of luggage with me on top of my carry on. So to fix that issue I decided to use a backpack instead which was actually easier for me. Overall, I was happy to have used this shuttle service and it was such a easy option for a direct transfer from Narita to Haneda and vice versa.

Just an update if it’s helpful to anyone. After landing at Narita, we probably were through with everything (past immigration, baggage, customs) in 20-30 minutes. The bus ride, although very fast and precise, took exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes (that includes pick up at 3 bus stops and dropping off people at Haneda Terminals 1 and 2). When at Haneda airport, to check in etc., we were at our gate in 15 minutes! 😊 So total time: not more than 2 1/2 hours. I’m happily impressed with how well run these airports are. 👍
Thank you so much for this video! i was looking high and low about information on rolling carry ons. So just to confirm, we are allowed to bring one rolling carry on it? I can put it on my lap if theres no room, lolol. But will they allow that?
How long is immigration? We visited Ireland and HOLY SHIT that was the longest line ever. We have three hrs to get from narita to haneda in june 😭
We have a layover in tokyo for 3 hours!! But we have to switch airports from haneda to narita!! IM SO EXCITED!! Gonna be my First time in tokyo
Hi, um, 1 quick question. Since there will be four of us carrying 2 large luggages for check in, and we wil be arriving from vancouver to narita, and we have to ride that bus to handeda to our next connecting flight to manila, so do we have to bring or carry 8 large checked in luggges to the bus or does it automatically transported to that haneda
Very clear.. nice info.. thanks
Hi! I’m about to do the same transfer but carrying a large box and one checked baggage (with wheels). Will they accept both items on the bus? Or must I pay a fee?
I am going to the US and one of my stops requires me to transfer from Narita to Haneda. I do not have a Japanese Visa. Do I need the Japanese Visa to transfer airports? Thank you.
Hey, I have a question. I booked a flight with a very tight layover so I plan on reserving the Limousine Bus on their website in advance. If I reserve and pay my ticket on internet, do I have to go to the ticket counter to claim it, or I simply have to go to the bus stop? thank you
its to much of a hustle booking a flight with transfer to another airport ..
Are these open right now? Because I have tickets from US to Narita then Haneda to Philippines.
Thanks for sharing , better if you explained it step by step , just too fast and not detail but thanks anyway
as an american, if i transfer from narita to haneda, Do i need a visa? since i am going into the country right?
Thanks for the video. I am from India and traveling to the US, will I be requiring a transit visa for traveling to Narita from Haneda airport?
Watching this video for my trip in March 2023. Hopefully by then Japan will lift the airport transfer restriction. The layover is 5 hours. That should be enough time, right?
Thank u for this video, my questions are:
1. Do they strict with size and weight of big luggage? For international flight we allow to bring 2 x 50lbs checked in and 10lbs carry on. Are they ok?
2. How much is the ticket?
Does we required transit visa
Very helpful video. I'm doing this transfer in a couple days. When you get off the plane at Narita, you go to Domestic Arrivals, correct? I saw the sign there for international transfer. That means connecting flights from Narita, correct? I have to go to Arrivals, get my checked bag, and take the bus?
My friendly limousine bus ride from Narita T1 to Haneda T1 took around 1:10 h!
Is tipping the driver expected?
Hi there! Does the transport shuttle drop you off on the departures or arrivals part of Haneda? Thinking about getting a capsule hotel at Terminal 1 for my 17 hour layover
im flying Delhi to Vancouver , i need to change airport at tokyo .. hameda to narita. do i need japan visa?
Does I need transit visa to travel form Haneda to Narita airport?
I get in at 8 a.m. my International delta flight is 8 hrs later but I figure I need to be at Haneda 2 hours before that. Is this possible? I'm a US citizen traveling from Vietnam to L.A. I suppose I don't need a visa but will have to navigate customs and TSA twice?😊👍 I'm going to use the bud not the train ok9
My flight would be next month from Manila to Haneda and having a layover for 11 hours, and then transfer to Narita for my next destination. Do I need to get a transit visa right? Or it’s okay not. I am from Philippines hoping to hear from you soon.
