    What is your source for saying Singapore is about 1/2 the size of Manhattan? Manhattan is 23 square miles, Singapore is 280 square miles.

    I love squat public toilet, not fancy touching germs with my bum.
    I love when the handle to flush is the step version! Feels more hygienic as well.

    Just a small correction regarding riding bicycles: Its not really out culture to cycle to work or as a major form of transportation, because well, it can get so damn hot here sometimes. However, there are tons of leisure cyclist and serious pro bikers in Singapore. We have a very extensive and somewhat "hidden" network of bikelanes called Park Connector Network. It literally links the whole country together through various small and large bike lanes that go through interesting places like the park or east coast beach.
    You wont see these lanes in the major tourist areas in singapore, these lanes are usually situated on the outer rim of the island with small lanes running across to connect them all together.

    Very good info! Still, hard to understand – nothing personal – but why do you film yourself so much, why not focusing more on showing the places without pictures of yourself in the front? (An idea: check out some of those "walking videos" for ideas. Maybe try to be a bit cool, you seem to be very stressed(?) in your videos. Okey, probably a cultural thing)
    Seems very American, sorry, kind of ego here. Therefore an idea: add your relevant comments, normally very good. Actually no need to see a tourist dressed in yellow that much, sorry….

    I think you meant to say half the size of NYC, Singapore is a lot bigger than Manhattan (not half of the size).

    Awesome video! I've been following all of your Singapore videos with a trip planned there this summer, thank you!! Our kids are over the age of 7, would the easiest be to just use a separate credit card to tap on/off transit for each of them? Seems easier than paying to get a card which we may/may not use all of the funds for.

    I would also like to add that speaking of shopping, Singapore has these little Chinese herb shops where you can buy medicinal herbs. I didn't buy any but thought they were interesting.
    Another thing I think people would like about visiting Singapore is that it's one of the safest places in the world. I'll never forget when I went out with friends to a restaurant on the beach, there were single women walking along the garden paths there by themselves. No having to worry about being mugged or accosted there.

    When I was in school we had a small "argument" with the teacher – "Why is QUAY pronounced as KEY, why not spell it KEY?" 😂🤣

    In fact, this thing is also a funny part of the online game – The Elder Scrolls Online, if you're at Khenarthi's Roost and running around the docks you can come across 2 NPCs arguing over this very thing….
