  1. In my opinion flying to lax-nrt or hnd on economy United is the best American is the 2nd best and delta is the worst I flew this route over 12 times whenever I fly on delta they suck

  2. Great video! I think that when we compare Delta to their Americans counterparts, they are definitely better.

  3. Very very interesting video and also the way you told, really! I am interested in the calendar 🙂

  4. Very informative facts about Delta's history. But come on now, for Basic Economy seats, it seems you were expecting Premium Economy or First Class Service. Just saying.

  5. Now post covid there is zero difference between premium select meals and regular coach meals. Its served the exact same way and in the same containers with tin foil over it.

  6. US carriers flying international routes just don't compare with International carriers and because of that, I would not fly US carriers abroad. I remember the days when US flights were fantastic but no more. I am dating myself but I flew TWA around the world three years in a row and we were fed out of each stop and the amount of food filled the tray no matter if it were a snack or breakfast or dinner, nowadays, you are still hungry with what they serve which is a real disgrace. I can't believe they did not serve a hot bread roll with butter and a cheese selection for dinner. Why could you not get a cocktail prior to dinner?…that is absolutely terrible….no DL or UA or AA for me!!!!!!

  7. 3:33 was Delta/Northwest at it's apex. 2009-2013 NRT between 1300-2100 was wall-to-wall wide-bodies and passengers. I miss those days. cool video

  8. I’m very amazed on how detailed and accurate descriptions of Haneda access and the airport itself. That was something Japanese people could do for visitors.

  9. i was on a viva areobus from los angeles to guadalajara but there was a crying baby who wouldnt stop and it almost poped my ears even when i was in a vip priority seat

  10. I must have flown out of Haneda the same time as you. The SkyClub at Haneda was new, fresh, and delayed by 4 hours there. The added Sakura delights helped pass the time.

  11. I truly enjoyed this very informative video, particularly the ancillary information such as the Northwest history, the rail connections in Tokyo and the detailed seat information. Very entertaining in every way.

  12. I did the Haneda-LAX flight in Delta Economy last month and Iw as quite surprised at how spacious and accomodating it was. I actually flew Delta One from Detroit to Haneda the week prior to this flight, and it was only a marginal difference in the "discomfort" for Economy. I was pleased with their Economy offering.

  13. Brutally Honest is always good and I can't get enough of them, Northwest's history (with photos) was a real step up

  14. The railway system in Tokyo is really complicated -I got lost in Shinagawa station when I went to Japan in 2018 because I didn't know that the Keikyu line directly connects with the Toei Asakusa Line-So I took a taxi and that costs me 5450 Yen

  15. does the into get any longer and technical about rail public transit, Delta is a horrible corrupt airline like the rest of the US carriers. They should be restricted to NRT. Period! At least smart Asian's know who not to fly.

  16. US airlines are basically a race to the bottom. Getting the basics right and being the least shitty is a competitive advantage.

  17. I miss northwest!! But delta is doing a good job keeping their product and legacy going. I love delta 🎉🎉🎉

  18. Hello simply aviation. When the Dreamliner for Iraqi airways arrived to the fleet I would like to ask you to fly with them because you are a good plane channel and I would like to see you do with Iraqi airways. Goodbye

  19. Great video, David! Thanks so much for the shout out! Fascinating to see how much has changed since 2020…
