What a long day! I cycle more than 70 km (43 Miles) in this video today. We start off at my campsite which was located close to Wuji Tianyuan Temple, somewhere north of Taipei, and I shoot to the coast to cycle down the north side of Taiwan. I actually end up going to the most northern point in all of Taiwan, located at Fugui Cape Lighthouse. I then cycle all the way to Keelung City and to the Keelung Night Market. Why did I do that? good question, because when I got there I wasn’t even all that hungry and all I wanted was to eat fruit or drink something fruity. I did eat some good soup and some Lu Roe Fan, but I really just wanted something to drink. The trip all the way there was beautiful though and I’m glad I got to see the north coast of Taiwan. There was a lot to see and I stop at a few different spots along the way.

  2. 是打算順時針環島嗎?如果想看東海岸線,逆時針會比較好

  3. How about visiting indigenous Taiwanese villages, too. They are Indonesian ancestors. Before Chinese Han migration, Taiwan was only inhabited by Austronesians, Indonesian ancestors, for thousands of years. Han Chinese only came recently to Taiwan, especially after nationalist defeat after WW2.

  4. 1. Mosquitoes are still sweltering outdoors in summer, it is really hard for you.
    2. The status of Taiwan has not been determined. This is the truth. According to MacArthur's No. 1 order, the Allied forces entrusted Chiang Kai-shek's army to come to Taiwan to accept the Japanese army's surrender mission in Taiwan. In 1952, the Allied forces signed the San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan. Chiang Kai-shek's military mission ended and he had to leave Taiwan. However, Chiang Kai-shek's army violated the order. Occupying Taiwan and not leaving, and claiming that the Republic of China ruled Taiwan, the Taiwanese could not tolerate such barbaric behavior, and began to have violent problems with the Chinese soldiers in Chiang Kai-shek's army, so Chiang Kai-shek used the army to suppress the Taiwanese bloody, purge Taiwan's elite, kill Only these intellectuals, and falsely claim that these people are communists and Japanese spies. Afterwards, Chiang Kai-shek began to implement totalitarian rule, forcing Taiwanese to be Chinese and not allowed to speak Japanese or Taiwanese. If they violated the regulations, they would be punished. All Taiwanese had to learn Chinese and were completely brainwashed. Mr. George Cole, an American diplomat in Taiwan at that time, recorded all this. After he left Taiwan, he wrote a book titled "Taiwan Betrayed". The Kuomintang was very angry and sent people to steal the book from libraries all over the world. , Destroy this book, don't let people know about Chiang Kai-shek's despicable behavior. The English version of this book can be downloaded for free on the Internet, thanks to Mr. Cole's family for making the truth known to the world

  5. The U.S. government did not handle the Taiwan issue cleanly, leaving a tail in East Asia. The Taiwan issue has evolved into a third world war that may trigger the third world war today. For this reason, the United States today is in extreme anxiety. In order to compete for Taiwan, the Chinese Communist Party uses leftist ideas Tearing apart American society, hurting the interior of the United States with communism and drugs

  6. 13:20 just sea conch ~~ What you eat is called "zongzi", wrapped in bamboo leaves,19:56 Lu Rou Fan,如果往北宜公路的時候要多小心汽車~~

  7. Your traveling in Taiwan is quitely different from the other Youtubers. You're cycling and use your eyes to feel local Taiwanese's life but that's the most approaching what the reality of Taiwan it is. After cycling around Taiwan, you will feel the difference among west, north, east and south of Taiwan. Of course, don't forget the central location of Taiwan because most of high moutain and amazing view is over there.

  8. 從你到臺灣桃園國際機場,腳踏車入境 事件開始!發現你語言不通 但真的很有勇敢四處旅遊,騎著單車🚴勇往直前👍!平安加油😊

  9. Let me translate for you. When you saw the little excavator blocking your way and an old lady greeted to you @3:34. She said, "Haha! Hold on. Wait a minute. Sorry, sorry, sorry! ('pháinn-sè' x3)" Then she told you, "Slow and steady. Be careful. Be careful. Be careful… ('sè-jī', for multiple times)."
She spoke Taiwanese. It's good for you to learn these two phrases, especially when you're in southern Taiwan. It will help.
    pháinn-sè 歹勢 = 1) Sorry, or 2) Excuse me.
sè-jī' 細膩 = Be careful; watch out.

  10. Hi, I would like to recommend wearing something that are in red or yellow when riding on roads. This will surely make you safer whenever you are on your bike. And if you have to ride in dark be sure to wear a light on your back or the rear end of your bike.

  11. How do you manage your time between editing the videos and exploring someplaces and moreover you're using bicycle maybe it will much less your energic, are you never so tired? Sorry if I'm questioning like this ✌🏻

  16. this is the type of thing people dream want to do but afraid to really do it. traveling alone with a bike in a foreign country that you don't know the language to speak of. even randomly looking for an open space to stay the night. it's… scary yet beautiful. I don't think you could do this in Indonesia lol. or idk maybe you could. it's just I think it's less safer

  17. I started watchigvyour videos since you land in taiwan…It’s a good adventure for a packer biker.Taiwanese are so nice😊❤Enjoy your ride and keepsafe😊

  18. I took a quick look at wikipedia then I came across an interesting fact. that the majority of Taiwan's early population may have been of Southeast Asian origin and racially similar to the Malay groups that inhabited Malaysia and Indonesia. I've also watched a film about this tribe which was described very artistic by a Taiwanese filmmaker, the title is Warrior of the rainbow.
