On our last day in Jakarta, we finally made it to Ancol Beach! We took a grab to Ancol Beach right after finally trying Gado Gado by Chinatown (watch that video here: https://youtu.be/y4aORaqb-84). However we didn’t know that there was a fee to enter the beach area! Our grab driver explained everything to us and told us we could buy tickets online, but our card wasn’t working on the website and we were unable to buy tickets. He dropped us off at the entrance to Ancol and we walked up to pay. There were many different options such as Dufan fantasy world, sea world, a bird land, and more! We just bought the normal Ancol Beach entrance ticket for 25,000 Rp each ($1.70 USD).
The first thing we saw when we entered Ancol was the Symphony of the Sea fountain. Next to the fountain there were lots of street food stalls set up like a beach boardwalk! We bought some lemonade (one super sweet and one sour) and walked around the Ancol boardwalk. It was the perfect place to watch sunset in Jakarta! There were many boats you could take a ride on and we were also able to walk across the famous love bridge which is made in the shape of a heart. After exploring the boardwalk and beach area we decided to stop for our favorite MARTABAK! We tried our first martabak telur filled with chicken which was SO good and we followed that by our favorite chocolate kacang martabak. It was such a great day at Ancol Beach Jakarta!!!

    Kepulauan seribu 30 minute by boat, if you want to see nice beaches, not like Ancol in the Mean land of Jakarta. More and more beautifull beaches
