Trivia: You need to have a compatible device to enjoy HDR videos such as recent smartphones and TVs. HDR videos are brighter than SDR (Standard Dynamic Range) videos. Even if you don’t own one of those, the videos will be automatically converted to SDR.

If you’d like to know if the video your watching is HDR or SDR, you can check on your computer and on the smartphone. On your computer, check under the video where the “HD” or “4K” signs are normally displayed. If you see “HDR” there then you are watching a HDR video.

On your smartphone YouTube app, tap the video and you’ll see a “gear” icon on the top right corner. Tap it to show the resolution of the video. If you see something like “720p60 HDR”, then you are watching a HDR video.

    Hey street you know back then LumaFusion did this in back 2019 just saying didn’t know why you didn’t do it before oh and da Vinci too I mean all you got to do is change codec from 254 to 256.. I think it was? But it was hassle and long to convert..
