  1. Josh, glad to have you back in our beautiful country. I hear that you had a bad experience before in 2017 when you came to Mexico. I also understand, by watching this video, that you are hoping that Mexico changes your past view of Mexico– itself. I am not sure that expectation is the right approach to traveling abroad. The key approach when traveling abroad (ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD) is common sense. This common sense approach to traveling is vital today, as it was in 2017 too. God only knows what you were doing, how you were behaving, what places you were going to, and the people that you were associating with, while, your stay in our beautiful country. I am sure that you know that you don't have to go abroad to get mugged! I presently live in Texas, and the crime rate is unbelievable! I also, have lived in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and in the smaller city of South Bend , IN—-The crime rate in these cities is unbelievable. What about the frequent massive shootings? I too like to travel, and have been to different countries—common sense and a respectful attitude has given me a good view of the world. Mexico doesn't have to convince you of anything!!!! Perhaps, you should reconsider the possibility that you–yourself is the one that needs to internalize your own doings, approach to life, whether, or not, you understanding the diversity of humanity in all geographical contexts, and the choices that you make at home, and abroad. You are the only one that can work through your own fears. Mexico doesn't need you, neither does it need me. But, Mexico, unlike most countries in the world, will take you in, as, one of his own children, if you learn to love and respect this beautiful land. I sincerely, welcome you and your family back in Mexico. I pray that you resolve your fears—approach to traveling. I also hope that you learn to embrace people in all its diverse possibilities. Take care.

  2. I'm new subscriber, this is a great video showing the places you visited in the capital of México. I was thinking about your safety concerns before coming back to our country México. I wish the best for all you, enjoy the city !!!

  3. I can't believe the speed of growing subscribers on your channel. I think It should be better than current situation.

Hope everyone else has opportunity to watch your one of gorgeous contents.

    So lovely!! Lively
    It even make me healed.

  4. You withdrew money from an atm in mexico city? Use credit cards or us airport atm’s. Is border cities exchange your dollars into pesos.

  5. Here in Texas thinking about going out to eat after this video and I wish I had a helicopter to go right now to Mexico City and eat/drink everything they throw at me 😂

  6. I love my city. Hope to go later this year. Took my 10 year old daughter last year and she wants to move there. Lol. Glad you enjoyed it. And yes you always heat up tortillas on a comal. If you don't have one, put in a small damped towel and microwave.

  7. Really sorry to hear about your traumatic experience in the past. My family was robbed at gunpoint while driving through Mexico about 33 years ago. Trauma will always remain with you. I’ve since traveled back to Mexico (Tijuana, Mexico City and Sinaloa) several times without issue. And I’ve had some of the best times I’ve ever had there. I love Mexico! 🇲🇽

  8. I Live in california and I can tell you it’s not that different here , people getting rob in Beverly Hills broad daylight , LV store getting looted by people wearing hoodies , homeless people that go crazy at you as you walk the streets , this is happening everywhere.

  9. Guys, if you don't know about something… just ask the locals! invest on being more than just tourists and you'll find the actual Mexico on it's people. I mean, instead of being clueless about those stands, you could just asked and you get the name for those "puestos" the same goes for the city main plaza: officially is "plaza de la constitución" or colloquially "el zócalo". Outside vendors, you did not had any interaction with the locals and that shows.

  10. Dont worry bro youll be alright. They still have sundown towns in USA where American citizens still have to worry..

  11. I'm so sorry about your horrible earlier experience. When I was a teen, and traveled with my parents to Mexico for the first time, they emphasized not dressing like a tourist. No tennis shoes, no sweatshirts, one pair of jeans, maybe one t-shirt. It has worked so far. I've traveled many places alone and haven't had any problems.

Too bad you didn't enter la Casa de Azulejos, the National Palace on the Zocalo, the Basilica, or Ideal Bakery. Next time.

Chapultepec has a long history. It was originally the Aztec emperor's summer home, later Ferdinand and Carlota built the castle. It was invaded by the U.S. (memorialized in the Battle Hymn of the Republic). The large monument with the tall columns at the base is in honor of the boy heroes, military cadets, who defended the castle against the U.S.

  12. Hi, I am from Mexico City. I am glad you visited our city. I am sorry that happened to you. Starting in 2018 things got much better in every single way. Decades before that the presidents, police, politicians, and most of the government workers were corrupted and my country was under a narco State. Police would not do anything and actually they were part of the problem. Now security is everywhere and we have a good honest government. The army, marines and national guard are in charge of our security and many ex politicians are in jailed or fleeing the country. One of those in jail is the former head of our national security. He is NY awaiting trial. Most people in Mexico are good people. I hope you come back.

  13. Hello! Just asking but I might have spotted you two in Seoul (while I was waiting for my Gimbap order to be ready at a Myeongdong Gimgane store). So excited if that is the case! 🙂

  16. have been living in Mexico City for over 2 years and I would say it´s one of the best cities I have been to. Since I visited for the first time I fell in love with this massive city and I definitely stayed here, and I don't know until when I'll go back, it is definitely a beautiful city, immense and with very nice people, its desfortunatelly of the bad experience but I would say now is a very safe city
