Walking Downtown Sebategna to Abenet Addis Ababa Ethiopia 2023
This trip was from Sebategna, which is the entrance and exit of Merecato, commonly known as Seventh, to Abent. When I started the walk, it was very tight and difficult. I have walked a enjoyable way to pass the sebategna. There are people who drink coffee and sell it on every street, people who have been doing business and small business say rest and drink coffee and tea, because there are trees it is a convenient way to say rest. But as I said that I had not traveled much, the footpath had been dug up and it was difficult and uncomfortable for both cars and walkers. I think one of the remarkable things about Addis Ababa is that the digging of ordinary and car roads is seen as a joke.
Water and electricity lines are broken everywhere. This road is a recently built road but it has been dug back up, to lay a power cable, but even when it is dug back up, it is not returned in a systematic way, as we can see in the video. This is a bit disappointing. However, I’m glad I walked as far as I could.
ይሄኛው ጉዞዬ በተለምዶ ሰባተኛ ተብሎ የሚጠራው የመርካቶ መግቢያና መውጫ ከሆነው ሰፈር ተነስቼ አብነት ድረስ ነበር፡፡ ጉዞውን ስጀምር በጣም የተጣበበ እና አስቸጋሪ ነበር፡፡ ሰባተኛን አለፍ እንዳልኩ ወክ ለማድረግ የሚመች ደስ የሚል መንገድ ነው የተጓዝኩት፡፡ በየመንገዱ ቡና አፍልተው የሚሸጡ አሉ፣ ንግድ እና አነስተኛ ስራ ሲሰሩ የቆዩ ሰዎች አረፍ ብለው ቡና እና ሻይ ይጠጣሉ፣ ዛፎች በመኖራቸው አረፍ ለማለት የሚመች መንገድ ነው፡፡ ግን ብዙም ሳልጓዝ ማለትም አብነትን አለፍ እንዳልኩ የእግረኛ መንገዱ ስለተቆፋፈረ ለመኪናም ለእግረኛም አስቸጋሪ እና የማይመች ነበር፡፡ አዲስ አበባ ከሚገርሙ ነገሮቿ አንዱ የእግረኛ እና የመኪናን መንገድ መቆፈር እንደቀልድ የሚታይ ይመስለኛል፡፡ የውሃ፣ የመብራት መስመሮች ተበጣጥሰው ይታያሉ በየቦታው፡፡ ይህ መንገድ በቅርቡ የተሰራ መንገድ ነው ግን ተመልሶ ተቆፍሯል፣ የመብራት ገመድ ለመዘርጋት በሚል፣ ግን የተቆፈረው ሲመለስ እንኳን በስርአት አይደለም የሚመለሰው በቪዲዮው ላይ እንደምንመለከተው ማለት ነው፡፡ ትንሽ ይሄ ቅር ይላል፡፡ ሆኖም ግን ያሰብኩበት ድረስ ተጉዣለሁ ደስ ብሎኛል፡፡
