Chiba Port Tower is surrounded by a vast park called Chiba Port Park. It is a park full of attractions such as a large lawn plaza and an artificial sand beach.

Chiba Port Tower is a pretty sight when the sky is blue and a few clouds are about, as the tower blends in with the sky. Take a look at the Wikipedia Japan article which features a photo showing this effect.
Due to the pandemic, the former Chiba Port Poppo (千葉ポ～トぽっぽ) novelty road train has been relocated to Showa no Mori, in Midori Ward to the east of the tower.
