Khao Sok FLOATING BUNGALOWS and Cave Exporing – Thailand National Park Travel Vlog

In this Thailand Travel Vlog, we head to Khao Sok National Park – one of the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand! We had heard about the amazing floating bungalows on Cheow Lan Lake, but what we didn’t realize was how many there are!! There are many different companies with bungalows hidden all over the lake! We decided to go with Smiley Lake House as they had a package deal where you could do one night in Khao Sok National Park Headquarters (where many of the tours start from as it’s easily accessible by public transportation) followed by one night on the lake. The tour cost 3,000 baht per person, but also included all of the transportation to and from the lake house as well as food and tours – a long tail boat ride to the hotel, a night safari looking for animals, a morning safari, and an amazing jungle trek with an hour in a cave! The only additional thing we had to pay was the national park fee.
Khao Sok was so amazing!!! Although we weren’t prepared for how many people were there. We’re not sure if that’s due to booking with one of the cheaper companies or that it was just an exceptionally busy weekend. Even with all the people we were still able to kayak around the lake and enjoy the floating bungalow. We were also really impressed with the cave tour! I’d never done anything like that before!!
