Chigusa Hotel is the most near hotel to Kawachi Wisteria Tunnel however that’s still 1.5 hours far!! There is no public transport to Kawachi Wisteria so you must walk al along the Kawachi Reservoir to get there. the walk is very safe and pleasant especially if you have good weather and there are many many wisteria trees in the wild nature all along the way.
make sure you book your tickets online for the wisteria tunnel otherwise you might not get in!
the flowers bloom during golden week so it is always very crowded with tourists and buses of tourists from abroad are also shoveled in.
you need to be there early morning when the sun is yet not strong. pictures look much better in shadow here!
