After having arrived in Nagercoil in the Kanyakumari district at the very southern tip of India – well, 20 km to the most southern beach (will show an extra video) I am more than interested the famous Nagaraja temple in this city. I suppose not, at least not filming… but let us find out together by watching this video, letting it grow so people will be more interested in going to Tamil Nadu. 1. Moonshine, do you know what is inside the shed on the left side of the road 7:11? It is an important aspect of hindu temple festivities!!!

  2. some of the greatest architecture in Tamilnadu – Brihadeeswarar Temple, Thanjavur; Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai; Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam; Kanchi Kailasanathar Temple, Kanchipuram; Ekambareswarar Temple, Kanchipuram; Ramanathaswamy Temple, Rameshwaram; Monolithic Rock Temples, Mahabalipuram.

  3. They are Shree Ram Lakshman and Sita ji . Avtar of lord Vishnu ji
    Jai shree ram ๐Ÿšฉ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

  4. If I'm not mistaken, the idols inside the Hindu temples are made of costly precious stones like diamonds and pearls decorated with gold jewelry, so no filming inside to prevent the temptation of burglary.

  5. Hi, nice video, as for not letting you in the temples with cameras the reason is that so many Hindu temples have been looted of their wealth by so called colonial rulers. So we don't want our temple wealth to be shown in cameras and people trying to get wrong ideas about these wealth. Also we don't need cameras when we pray.. Have a nice trip in India. God bless.

  6. Dear friend, kindly remember that all over Tamil Nadu wherever you see the letters it will only be in Tamil and seldem you could find other language words except English
So kindly never use the word Sanskrit in tamilnadu please as Tamil language is just 180ยฐ opposite to Sanskrit
Only in Tamil language most of people both men and women have their names in the name of Tamil language
Like Men: Tamil Selvan, Tamil vanan, Tamilarasan, Tamil mani and for women: Tamil selvi, Tamil, Tamilarasi, Tami lAzhagi etc

  7. Please don't miss the Virgin Mary Church( Catholic, obviously) in a town called Velankanni( literally meaning Virgin Mother!). It is a very POWERFUL CHURCH where many miracles( Praise The Lord) took place ,is taking plac and will take place! Amen!

  8. the word you were saying(if i am correct) is actually spelt "kunkuma' which is red in color and typically smeared on ones forehead in most of the temples. the one thats on these idols of snakes is 'turmeric'. By nature, the behavior of snakes is to show anger (as a deterrent) which can be compared to 'heat'.. in order to keep them cool and lessen their anger, milk and turmeric is applied on them. There is one huge same kind of temple of snakes is in the state of karnataka ( I know you guys had been to Udipi, mangalore etc) on the west coast called 'subrahmanya'. AFAIK the god(subrahmanya representing the snake gods) is more powerful in whole of India.

  9. Tirunelveli siva temple very good place next u going Tirunelveli place so nice place om namasivaya big temple

  10. Yoo, I truly Appreciate your coverage of the Indian travel experience I must say Its actually Incredible that you guys are travelling, what's like an uncharted territory for most tourists who travel to India,However, I would actually rephrase it as a Snake Deity Temple. For me, just calling it as "Snake Temple" makes it seem like people there can't differentiate between an animal and God,Then Again, I appreciate your reporting of your travel Experience.Wishing you the best.

  11. Those letters you saw on the wall are tamil and not sanskrit. Note that sanskrit resembles much like hindi writing with some suttle differences.

  14. On wall letters are in Tamil bro not Sanskrit… Sanskrit just invaded into temple 600 years before for chant, before that Tamil only in use even to chant thats why all inscription s are in tamil only in all temples…Tamils not ruling Tamil nadu now but soon tamilan or tamilachi will rule that time again chant will be in tamil only๐Ÿ˜Š
