In Japan, cherry blossoms (sakura) represent the impermanent nature of life; the flowers are so beautiful, but their life is short. Sakura is a central motif in the Japanese worship of nature, but they have also historically signified the short but colorful life of the samurai.

Spring in Japan is simply a magical season as the iconic sakura (cherry blossoms) blooms turn the whole country into a soft pink splendor. In this video, you can see the top places in Tokyo to see cherry blossoms in March – April.
