Hi, my name i Tsering and I’m a travel nurse in the US. While i love being a nurse i love travelling even more. So, after my travels in Mustang, Nepal i then flew west to India. In this travel vlog, I explore the beautiful hilltown of Dharamshala in India. Dharamshala is the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh, India, as well as the site of the Tibetan Government-in-exile. It serves as administrative headquarters of the Kangra district after being relocated from Kangra, a city located 18 km (11 mi) away from Dharamshala, in 1855.
There i had an audience with the dalai lama and it was one of the best moments of my life. I also visited the dalai lama temple complex, the parliament in exile, the tibetan museum, and the norbulingka institute.
So in this vlog i will explain how you might be able to meet the dalai lama as well. We will also explore tibetan culture in and around dharamshala and mcleodganj. We will learn about the holy tibetan books and look at some of the statues and artifacts from tibet. We will also do an interview with some of the local indians from haryana and ask them about their experience in dharamshala.
