Finally! Street food in South East Asia… we’ve been dreaming of this day since pre-2019. What better place to get an introduction into the scene than the bustling city of Manila in the Philippines. We tried a whole bunch of different foods with varying reactions 😂 Enjoy!

Wonton noodles are actually Chinese. Filipinos use spoon and folk when eating.
That Ice Cream we call it “Sorbetes”
You can try Buko Pandan and Halo Halo
Good for you for sampling the food in the market!!
Dont eat the banana leaf😅
We use fork instead of chopstick for noodles
Your sorbet in Australia, we call it sorbetes😊

Hello happy couple enjoy your food trip in street market in Makati it's more fun in my country Philippines god bless stay safe
Hi agin, after your first real Filipino yellow mango 🥭,..mangoes will never be the same again.
Enjoy staying in Manila guys
Btw those aren't the real street foods here in the Philippines and it's also really expensive btw… the real street foods are in Quiapo and Divisoria..
You will totally like anything that’s wrapped just like that spring roll. We call it lumpia. It’s fried. Same wrapper but bananas (Saba similar to plantain) with jackfruit inside is called Turon. Banana cue one of my favorite snack is also fried banana and it’s on a stick. Filipino dishes are either sweet, sour and salty. Abundant sweet breads with cheese in most bakery stores. The only one I eat is pande coco. It has sweetened coconut inside. You gotta try the Filipinos favorite dessert which is halohalo. It means mix mix. Varieties of toppings include ube (purple) ice cream, ube halaya (puple yam), leche flan, coconut jellies, tapioca pearls, banana, beans etc. Evaporated milk to top it off. You gotta mix it carefully to eat it.
Btw…Filipinos use fork and spoon to eat. You gotta eat most Filipino dishes with rice.
Visit manam comfort filipino restaurant in bgc and locavore for filipino dishes and ube shakes etc… enjoy lovely couple! 🧡🇵🇭
The problem with some foreigners is that you’re already nervous when you haven’t even tasted it yet. Don’t expect western tastes in Asia. An open adventurous mind is all that’s needed.
Hello I’m here could not keep up 😅. You two are so onto it so many video’s. Yeah pineapple is good for you Sarah. Sticky rice with sugar?? looks interesting, seemed like it was tasty. Ay David “ as I was taking a deep breathe of that beautiful barbeque smell, I got a lung full of raw fish” 😂😂😂😂. Monkey nuts is what we called them. I used to boil them in water, salt and then munch, munch. It was like a treat. The people there look so friendly and helpful. Exploring and tasting the street food, seems like some good food there. 😂😂😂Sarah struggling with the chopsticks I am totally useless when eating with chopsticks. Wow yes the right words an International street market. Seemed to me with all the different foods the two of you tasted and the yummy phillipino ice cream. Stay safe ❤
Hi David and Sarah, enjoyed this video of you trying different foods in Manila. What are the odds of 2 Tim Horton lovers having their store behind them on your footage at 03:59 marker in Manila Philippines. I was surprised you didn't mention it and run in and get your Tim Horton's fix. I always like with your videos that you don't sugar coat things and you tell your honest opinions on whatever you are trying. I believe the red colored eggs you were asking about are Itlog Na Pula or Red eggs in English.
unfortunately you only got like two filipino foods out everything you just ate, definitely going to quiapo to buy from the street food stalls would show you the real filipino street food experience
You guys, this vid is making me hungry! That food 🤩🤩. I think it's time for lunch 😅
the red egg is salted egg and small one is quail eggs
