Kyoto’s Jingo-ji temple has been around since 781 and is one of the key temples of the Shingon school of Buddhism.

It’s located north west of Kyoto city in Japan, and is well worth a day trip from Kyoto, with large, lush grounds and gorgeous buildings. (Plus, you can walk down the picturesque Kiyotaki river afterwards.)

This video takes you on a tour of Jingo-ji’s grounds, and is designed to let you enjoy the mystical atmosphere, with just field audio and music – no commentary.
