  1. Good to see your on the mend Seán, your so right to take the extra time at home to avoid contamination of others! I had COVID three weeks ago for the first time too, pretty nasty stuff and like you I had all the shots, all my family have had it before so I thought I was invincible! Luv ur posts, I have been to Thailand many times pre COVID, looking forward to returning soon with my family 👍

  2. Great video Sean. Glad to see you are on the mend. The cost of medical care in Thailand is an absolute bargain ! It's too bad it is so expensive in the states. Looking forward to your next video.

  3. I finally made it to Thailand a few months ago for an extended stay, but I got deathly sick and started coughing so bad I got a hernia and had to fly back home after a week of being sick in bed.

  4. Hey Sean, glad to see you are doing better. I was in Pattaya for about 6 weeks back in March and April (yeah I picked the hottest months) and never got sick to my amazement. You were just unlucky to be directly exposed to someone so symptomatic, that really sucks. Next time I'm there I'll look you up and buy you a beer, I'll be coming back in July. I'm going to try to move to the area by the end of the year. I have to finish remodeling my home so I can get top dollar when I sell. My place is nowhere as nice as your house was. Feel better. Take care.

  5. More vaccine means you are higher risk of getting covid because your immune system gets weaker

  6. yes man you have covid a fucked up week and you'll be fine but forget about smelling or tasting food for 6 months sorry.

  7. smoke some cannabis I think it's legal there and you will sleep for me it was a good help I couldn't sleep.

  8. That lady at the clinic without a mask was so matter of fact and couldnt give 2 S's about contracting C19!

  9. I never get sick. Only once since I turned 18..in 1983
February 1989 double pneumonia. It came on out of no place. It only took me a week to get better.
At 58 I am healthier than most of my age .

I did expose myself to covid.
I had sex with my fiancee who had covid.
    Nothing
I.do have a genetic disorder that keeps those with it from getting sick.
I know a couple of others who have C.I.D.P. that don't or rarely get sick.

  10. I've had the exact same thing as you. For 2,5 years, never had anything, while people from work, and people in my neighborhood all got covid. Then I go to Phuket last year with my Thai wife and she got covid, because I took care of her, I got covid as well and her sister and brother-in-law as well as my dad and his girlfriend all got Covid at the same time.

Unlike you, I wasn't really feeling sick though. I was just extremely tired and sleeping for 1,5 days. Glad to hear you're getting back on your feet.

  11. YIKES! Sorry to hear about your illness, dude. I've been sick overseas when I was on my own. It's not fun. Just curious. Did you get vaccinated? If so, what vaccine did you get and did you get the boosters? Feel better, man.
