  1. Nice. Your vidoes are simply so much more cinematic than pretty much anyone elses on YouTube

  2. I really like your videos, can you tell me around what time did you go get those images of the famous street of Kyoto ? We will be traveling there in September 13 ! Thank you

  3. I love your cinematic videos! I've been to Kyoto too. I instantly recognised the blue boats in Arashiyama at the start 🙂

  4. Thank you so much for taking me back to Japan. I visited Tokyo, Kyoto and Matsue last octobre and have been wanting to go back ever since 🙂 .

  5. I organised my First Trip to Japan with your videos. I watched this Video and loved it so much that we are currently booking to visit Kyoto again 😂 love your videos! Thank you for sharing your experience

  6. All Japan area never fail to reveal everything to foreigner. The hospitality, scenery, technology, meals, etc..For HALAL ramen recommendation is Ayam-Ya

  7. When you showed the kodai-ji…it reminded me of what my mom was telling about an area in my hometown of the Philippines. She said that area used to have so many fireflies at night and algae in the water that made it flow with light in the dark. But as it got popular it became less and less prominent and eventually it went away. I feel like most areas that was well lit like that used to have such an experience.

  8. Obviously I'm aware of covid but wondered why vast amounts of people are still wearing a mask 😷?

  9. Always looking forward to when I see your new videos in my subscriptions! Thanks for the great content!

  10. Man I love the fact you use music from Zelda and Genshin. some of my favorite songs and noticing them in the video is so fun

  11. Thanks for the great video. I, like most people love to photograph things but watching all these great videos inspired me to take some video on my last vacation. Let me tell you folks- IT IS SO HARD. Not just capturing the footage but editing it and putting it together and if you want music how and what fits…it's all just too much and it took me DAYS to make like a 5 minute montage for me and my friends lol. That's not including all the extra time to set things up so you or your subject is in the shot and the different angles and…it's just too much.

But I am glad I did it as I get to appreciate even more these videos knowing just how difficult they are to create…especially if you're the one who has to capture all the footage.

  12. im going to japan this November and i just wanna say your videos have really helped me out

  13. I'm 17 and am planning my first trip outside of my country (New Zealand) since 2018. Not only that, but it's my first ever overseas trip without parents, as I'm only going with 2 friends to Japan in January next year. Needless to say, since booking the tickets, I've been doing hours of research about Japan and the places we could go on our two-week trip. Out of all of the many videos I've been watching, yours have been not only the most helpful (especially your 14-day itinerary video, it saved my life!), but the most interesting and beautiful to watch. Your cinematography and eye for a good shot are on another level, and it makes me enjoy planning this trip all the more when I get to watch a beautifully made video as well as further plan my itinerary. Going to another country at 17 for the first time without parents is definitely nerve-wracking, but moreso insanely exciting, and your videos on Japan have me all the more excited for my visit to this incredible and gorgeous country. I can tell you love what you do; keep it up! Thank you so much for your hard work on every video 🙂

  14. Your usage of Final Fantasy 13's The Promise really caught me off guard. What's the Legend of Zelda song used in the Arashiyama part?

    Great video once again!

  15. Dear Alan, Coincidentally, we are currently editing and putting out our Japan Travel Series as well. And our videos wouldn’t have been half as good if not for your travel guides.
We said the exact same thing for your Iceland videos just last year and now we are saying it again for your Japan Guides 😂😂😂
As travel filmmakers, your videos have been a goldmine for us. They are a very essential part of our research in many of our travel series and have helped us in ways you cannot imagine. We would love to meet you if at all you decide to come to India.
Alan Su’s Guide to India is long pending 😄😄😄
Love and Hugs from Bangalore, India ❤❤❤
