DETAILS IN CAPTION👇🏽
1. You’ll find Rikuro’s cheesecake in Osaka, don’t be put off by the queue it goes fairly quickly. I waited around 10 minutes and it was so worth it to dig into a whole jiggly cheesecake for only £5.50!! Probably the lightest and fluffiest thing I’ve ever eaten.
2. Second on the list is another freshly baked good from Nara, the owner uses traditional mochitsuki pounding to turn the sticky rice into a stretchy smooth paste and when you get it fresh the sweet red paste made from azuki beans inside oozes out🤤 📍Nakatanidou
3. Some say the 10 yen cheese bread is overrated but I would have to disagree, yes it is simple but SO good. The outer pancake is sweet and crispy on the outside and soft as soon as you bite into it then comes the oozing cheese adding a salty flavour. I’m a big fan of crunch mixed with soft and sweet mixed with salt so it was a big thumbs up for me. 📍Dotonburi
4. 3D latte art (yes yes I know it’s not food), however is it not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen in drink form!? If I’m being honest, the taste was average (I got the milk tea maybe coffees are better considering it’s a coffee shop) and it was quite expensive however totally worth it for a one time experience to watch them turn a photo of your choice into 3D foam art! 📍HatCoffee
5. Grilled unagi, something I had never tried before but is famous in Japan, and I’m so happy I did. Literally soo good, I went into this hole in a wall restaurant with no queue, stumbled across a hidden gem I think! 📍Sumibiyaki Unagi no Nedoko
