Ya Allison you sure look like having fun and it should be. I hope you strongly consider "revisiting Jedu" that you can swim a bit shallow water and safe area, NO shark around near Jeju island that I know of, and it is NOT cheap nor easy to find clean AND safe places to swim LIKE very close to island vicinity blue water swimming! Ocean water has very high buoyancy plus woman can float better than man and I do not see your "enjoying fun and even good for your body due to half an hour in shallow ocean areas SHOULD give your health and therapeutic benefits NOT many ocean harbor areas you JUST cannot find safe water like Jeju. Florida has some deadly jelly fish plus saltwater crocodiles and even gators. As for swimming in Australia beach is the WORST n the MOST dangerous water looks like NICE sand beach but beware looks can be deceiving and I would NOT swim in Australian water unless it has been verified as "safe to swim"
*I highly "recommend" you to visit late spring (saw video that has unique excellent healthy fish that can only be cached in April) to enjoy the good for health fish but otherwise summer time to visit Ulleungdo island much bigger than nearby island Dokdo, but think about this, you ARE in the "middle of East Asian sea several hours from South Korea mainland; however, you ARE in luck because Ulleungdo island got finally able to secure fund to build airport that should remove your sea sick worry even though you can view fantastic short sea voyage!" After making this comment, I am going to see if the airport has been completed and you need to check if the airport has been completed so that JUST around hour you will be in Ulleungdo Island and after enjoying the island video made by another European American white family, {they also visited Phone Choung-winter Olympic city-beef is so thin it is considered as "delicacy" because nothing but natural grass and so cold in winter. US cows are so fat to get more money and how can cows grow so fat? NO need to mention you can not miss city of Busan tour and near by island just to drive, because Busan is tight so they build bridge above water and bridge under water, tunnel you can drive through safety, build with Dutch engineer. Just checked Google and here is what the statement posted in google-webste: "The provincial government announced that construction of the airport will be complete by May-2025. Aug-2021. Ulleungdo Island Airport development works are behind schedule due to rebar [steel bar] shortages, meaning the airport is unlikely to be completed and commissioned by its May-2025 deadline." If you are likely experince sea sick and wants to opt out ferry ride, then need to wait up to 3.5 years sadly! USA

Jeju Island , except food , everything is overrated. it is just cheap place for Korean to spend short vacation as there is nothing in rest of Korea as too small country. nothing worthwhile if you know other islands on planet.. I would say if u r on budget , visit Jeju. super cheap compare to other beautiful places.
