Mount Fuji, also known as Fuji-san, is a 3,776m tall stratavolcano on Honshu Island with an unusually symmetrical cone that is covered in snow for about five months of the year. It is a cultural icon of Japan and is frequently depicted in art and photography, as well as visited by sightseers, hikers, and mountain climbers.

Mount Fuji, together with Mount Tate and Mount Haku, is one of Japan’s “Three Holy Mountains”. Surrounding Mount Fuji are 5 lakes, 2 of which are featured in this video. All up, this video took 3 days to make, 2 days of which Mount Fuji’s peak was either fully or partially obsured. On the third day, we got lucky (plus we had to go chase the aspect by following webcamera info)
