  1. Great tips, guys! Thank you. I'll be in Istanbul for 2 weeks. I thought about doing Old Town for 1 week and Kadikoy for another. Get a good sense of both sides!

  2. Thanks for the info

Can you talk about EXTREME adventure like bungee jumping, water parks, capadokya balloon ride, paragliding and more ? Tell us where to find these stuff and more and where to go book these stuff and how and the prices so we do not get scammed.

Do you advice going to travel agent in Istanbul to buy a package of all these activities? If you do, which travel agent company is the best to avoid scams?

I am coming Istanbul on June and stay for 14 days with my friends and we need your advice brother 🙏

  3. I definitely agree that it's a good idea to learn some basic Turkish before you visit.
In regards to taxis here, I would recommend using Bitaksi app. You're less likely to get overcharged or driven the long way to your destination. I've lived here a few years and I still get the occasional taxi driver that takes me on a tour before actually going where I wanted. Also, I honestly suggest that women not travel alone in certain areas and try not to look like a tourist too much.
Thank you for your videos. I'm enjoying them very much. Steve, I loved hearing your NY accent. I'm an East Coast girl and it reminded me of home. Gocke it's wonderful seeing the country through your eyes as someone who's lived in the USA for a long time. Keep all the great videos coming.

  5. Hi! I'm a woman nd ÇI am thinking of traveling alone in Turkey on september, but I cannot find reliable information on how to get around in Turkey. I'm going to arrive in Sofia, say a few days there, then take the night train to Istambul, stay a few days there, and then I want to go to Pammukale and also to Cappadocia. But I couldnt fin how to get there since it said there were no direct flight or even buses there. That I may need to at least change buses once or twice to get there. And that you cannot buy them before hand. Could you please help? I'm worried and really want to go there.

  6. Hi, I might have to work while visiting Cappadocia, Pamukkale, or Fethiye. Is the wifi going to be an issue? Am I better off using mobile data? Great video by the way.

  7. I appreciate your video and info extremely helpful, but how does one get to Cappadocia from Istanbul I guess What I’m asking here is what the best way to get there? I’m planning on visiting Turkey and Cappadocia is on top of my lists

  8. Can you tell me which hotel did you stay at in Istanbul that had good price and good buffet. Thank you

  9. Hello guys, I am wondering is schwab investor account that waives atm fees gives you a good exchange rate? Have you retroactively compared the rate your bank gave you to the current prevailing exchange rates? I have the same account but wonder if this is how they make up for the free or refunding of atm fees. Thanks from Oregon, USA

  10. Great tips!! I have a dji mini 2 which is just under 250g. Do I still need to register? What are the chances it will be confiscated at the airport?

  12. Great video. Love how you are quick, and to the point with your advice / recommendations. I look forward to the food and drink. I will be in the Sultahmet area and am looking for recommendations for places to get good authentic Turkish food, both restaurants and street food. Thanks, and good luck with your videos.

  13. Thanx for the tips! I'm planning 5-6 days in Istambul this sommer. I'm searching a cheap hotel in Galata, Taksim area. Do you think it's a nice area? I'm also looking on the Asian side but I think it's not convenient for the transportation, especially during the night. What do you think? Thanx for your suggestions. Cheers from Switzerland!

  14. You cannot compare Turkey to New York or Paris. Night and day diffidence in terms of safety.

  15. Great video guys! Quick question on the drone laws, seeing a lot of conflicting info. Do you know if it is still 500g and below? I want to take my Mini 2 with me and am a bit confused on the rules. Any help would be much appreciated!

  16. We found Istanbul to be one of the safest cities we've visited worldwide, better than London or New York, including late-night strolls in the city. I recommend a day visit to the Princes Islands (we had wonderful ahtopot – octopus in red wine – on the shore), also Kokoreç (lamb's intestines) must be tried. All the food was excellent, there was nothing we would not recommend. It's a wonderful city, visit to the Asian shore is a must. We stayed in the city one week, and barely scratched the surface, so we need to return. The metro system is excellent and very clean.

  17. Is it mandatory for all visitors to Turkey to fill out the form, the Turkey Public Health Passenger Locator Form on line in advance before the entry to Turkey?

  18. Please any information or link about bringing Over the Counter medicines like Ibuprofen, Vitamin D, multivitamins, prescription meds, etc. Thanks!

  19. Thank you so much for the drone info I always thought they weren't allowed for foreigners, I have a mavic air 2 which is a bit over so I will have to get a mini 2 thanks again I have just subscribed, loving the videos safe travels 👍

  20. Hey bud, I'm flying to Turkey on the 19th of Sept. Just to head start about the Taxi, are Taxi still around in Istanbul at 2 or 3am? because I need to know if there are still around the city for example if the next flight is in the morning at 8 and the distant is far.
